Operation Market Garden – Battle of The Scheldt – Liberation southern part Netherlands – Hürtgen Forest – Battle of the Bulge – Alsace/Lorraine – Veritable/Blockbuster – Colmar Pocket – Rhine Crossings at Wesel, Remagen, Frankfurt en Worms – and more …

Northwestern Europe was the scene of prolonged and heavy battles west of the river Rhine between September 1944 and March 1945. It took approximately 200 days before the Allies finally crossed the river Rhine in full strength and were able to finally defeat Nazi Germany. Battlefield Discovery focuses on this unique part of World War Two history. We do this by researching this time period, providing consultancy and lectures and leading battlefield tours.

Discover the operations and former battlefields with us. Join us on a unique experience to well known and ‘off the beaten track’ locations, learning the special stories that shaped the outcome of World War Two. Hear, see and learn what it was like to experience this period in history at the locations where history was made.
